THE ORGANIC TRUTH

'Chemicals used in conventional agriculture are absorbed through the roots into the vines. Residues eventually end up in the finished wine.'

Imperial Lane Auckland

There is a new place in the city worth going... Actually there are three new places in the city worth going!
In the old 'Imperial Building' on Queen Street, three new establishments have opened about two months ago? Roughly...

The space is absolutely beautiful, very light, original and open. So, the Imperial Building being massive, it has been divided into three spaces:
- The Imperial Lane on the ground floor: a very nice Cafe / Patisserie open for lunch and dinner. A friend told me she had the best coffee she's ever had in Auckland...
- Everybody's is on the first floor with and inside and outside area: absolutely amazing space. The menu is different, creative and very well executed. They even bake their own bread and do their own salted butter available on the table.
- The Roxy: this is the fine dining part of the buidling. It is located on the first and second floor and offers a great refined dinning experience...

Their wine lists are obvisouly amazing with some Turanga Creek wines listed by the bottles (Turanga Creek 'Notre Terroir 2009 / Turanga Creek Pinot Gris 'Le Pur' 2010) and by the glass (Turanga Creek Viognier 2009 / Turanga Creek 'L'Autre Terroir' 2009) depending in which of the 3 establishments you are.

This is definitely a place to check in the Auckland CBD!
