Our Vineyard Manager has a nose for quality. She’s spent over 20 years in the hospitality industry, cooking and managing restaurants and cafes. Without a doubt, you’re in good hands with Margaret.

2011-12 - The journey over the last few years has seen many changes but has been well rewarded.  Last year we gained full organic certification with Biogro, realeased our first certified wine and also our first vintage of Syrah.  We also opened "Down To Earth", our new Wine Bar.

I have just completed the Biodynamic course at Taruna in Havelock North - a little belated!  We have been using the Biodynamic preps since 2008 but now, with a little more knowledge have launched into growing and making our own preparations, with the intent of Demeter Certification in the near future.

I also have the priviledge of being the Auckland Representative for Organic Winegrowers NZ (OWNZ) so hopefully we may get to host gatherings of those travelling the same path.
